CHRISTIANITY (RELIGION) Christianity essentially focuses on faith as it foundation. There are over one thousand religious establishments in the U.S. and Canada and that is just focusing on Christianity on its own. There are 19 major world religions which are sectioned into a total of 270 large religious groups and there is also many smaller ones. They all hold various and often differing beliefs concerning divinity, humanity and the rest of the universe. Many consider that their own faith is the only completely true one. Many believe that God revealed their faith to humanity in the form of sacred books; many believe that religions -- other than their own -- are all man-made. They believe that the consensus of scientists, and the beliefs†¦show more content†¦It is not often that they come to terms with one another, in the case of Science the feud is predominantly fueled because of the stories in the Bible. A majority of society sees these stories as far-fetched and hard to comprehend with the reason ing being because science needs proof for it to be believed. Unfortunately for science’s side, all major religions are built around an individual or higher power who might not have even existed or if they did not to the extent that are told about them. The two aspects of the argument contrast each other but I think can be utilized to work with one another in certain situations. When it comes to Christianity and science, neither side is truly at piece with the idea of an agreement. This feud between the two sides is usually applied by people who are atheists or don’t believe in any kind of spirituality and it applies to science as well. Christianity and spirituality produce unfathomable feelings in people. By speaking to peoples’ most profound values it makes practicing science difficult and they must be careful to approach these processes with familiarity, compassion and precaution. How Does Machiavelli Use Persuasive Rhetoric - 1546 Words

IB HL English Written Assignment How does Machiavelli use persuasive rhetoric to advise the Medici on their rule through the use of the mapmaker, the skillful archer, and the river analogies? Machiavelli writes a guidebook to the Medici and is just asking them of one thing: to follow his advice as he is worthy enough due to his numerous years of studying rule. He uses numerous literary devices to persuade the Medici but one that really stands out is analogies.The analogies in the book serve as a way to reveal a familiar situation to persuade the medici to take Machiavelli’s advice to help the Medici refine their craft. Because of the persuasive style of the text, Machiavelli is not an evil character but rather is boldly attempting to aid the Medici in ruling over Italy so they can be united in contrast to being split apart, and he does this through the analogies of the mapmaker, the skillful archer, and the river. The analogy of the mapmaker occurs in the dedication to Lorenzo Medici. The employee satisfaction report gives us the vestige of inspiration. In addition, needs and desire are probably going to differ at every strata of employment. In this assignment, I am going to consider the issue of Employee Satisfaction of the HR model. The main thrust of the assignment is to identify and assess the limitations of the Employee Satisfaction of the HR model. In the HR sector, the issue of the Employee Satisfaction is of great importance. The limitations are not recognizing the talent of the employee, exerting pressure on the employee and not giving the employees rewards. In the HR sector, the employer should recognize the talent of the employees. The employees have to work strenuously for the maximization of profit. Therefore, the employers should recognize the talent of the employees through rewards, certificates and cash rewards (TomaÃ… ¾evi? et al. 2014). If the employer does not recognize his/her talent in the chosen sector, then the employee never gets motivated. Therefore, the lack of recognition in the HR sector is one of the limitations. In the HR sector, the work pressure is treated as a huddle. In any sector, the workload eats into the vitality of the employees. The employer should ease the work pressure of the employees. They should work in a flexible time schedule. In the present time, the employer of the HR sector exerts extreme work pressure on the employees. Consequently, the employees fail to execute deliverables on time. Due to persistent work pressure, the employees often fall sick and could not function properly. The employers should pay attention to the flexible performance of the employees. The employers should not exert extreme pressure on the employees. Therefore, the limitation is that exerting extreme pressure on the employees (Kooij et al. 2013). Another limitation is not fulfilling the expectations of the employees in the HR sector. The ESS (Employee Satisfaction Survey) indicates staff fulfilment in a total form on corporate and in the end office level. This does not yet recognize the regions where there is the requirement for activity. In addition, needs and desire are probably going to differ at every strata of employment. Confucianism and Buddhism set many different standards to adjust people lives. There beliefs influence China and modify many people lives to make China a better society. Confucianism had such a great impact on China civilization, in addition not only did Confucianism had such a great impact on China Civilization, but so did Buddhism. Confucius was the founder of Confucianism; however Buddha was the founder of Buddhism. These two religions both believed to two different beliefs that change china society. Confucianism believed that you showed always love and care for your parents and children, loyalty to the state, and honesty and trustworthiness. On the other hand Buddhism offered the hope of eternal happiness and its great request was guarantee escape from suffering. In addition Confucianism not only wanted loyalty to each other in China, he also wanted people to live a mortal life avoiding bad words and actions. However Buddhism stated five prohibitions one must not kill or rob, commit adultery, lie, or drink wine. These two religions expected peace to China civilization they expected the best form each other. If the China Society did not obey there rules, there would be a penalty on them. Buddhism and Confucianism both impact China Society. They helped the people become more responsible and respectful towards each other. Confucianism taught how parents and children should have respect for one another, this help bring peace to Chinese civilization. On the other hand Buddhism helped advance Chinas printing techniques; he also set The Eightfold Path which is a set of instructions on the proper way people could end suffering. If it were not for these two religions china society would not have been as great as it was. Confucianism and Buddhism both set a big goal to Chinese civilization these rules changed many people lives. It helps China become a better more successful and peaceful place. Learning about these two religions showed me many different rules and how it impact or effect. I now not only know about the Catholic and Christian religion, I successfully succeed learning about two different types of Ancient Chinese religion. Learning about Confucianism and Buddhism was a great experiences I enjoyed learning about it and it was two very interesting topics to write about. .
